This modern coffee table follows the popular trend in the interior designing ! The growing for last few years “burned wood” trend in designing brings an ancient wood charring technique, originated in Japan in the 18th, back to life. The technique was originally used to preserve wood to make it weatherproof. The process is environmentally friendly and doesn't contribute to harmful pollution. Nowadays, as a current trend in modern architecture, you meet burned wood being used for making furniture and wooden wall panels and artwork. This is because the visual effect is excellent to fit into both modern and rustic settings.

The basic premise of each project we undertake is using wood elements while maintaining the natural form of the wood and underlining its beauty. The shapes and patterns of wooden slabs are indeed outstanding as nature itself creates true works of art. Therefore we preserve naturally irregular edges of the slabs and try to process the wood as little as possible in order to maintain its natural quality. Steel legs or frames create a stable support for the wooden top. Such a combination of austerity and modernity perfectly fits into the interior design of apartments and commercial premises.

The overall dimensions of the OFFERED / LISTED table are: 100cmL x 36-49 cmW x 45cmH (40"L x 14-19"W x 18"H).

The pictured piece of furniture shows a previously sold table. We can make a bespoke one just for you within 1 week. WE OFFER SLABS IN MANY SIZES ! Each table will be absolutely unique and never exactly the same as shown on pictures.

The slab coffee table is dispatched with the legs detached. All you need is to join top and legs together using few screws (provided) and a screwdriver. Holes are already drilled and marked for easy assembly.

Slabs used for our projects were kiln dried, deeply planed, triply sanded, smoothen and triply coated with the highest quality, durable, fully organic or eco-friendly oil.

The vision that accompanies the process of designing and making our furniture and decorations is to exhibit solid wood elements in the frames of modern, durable materials. We impregnate our furniture and protect each piece against liquids, dust and dirt using organic or eco-friendly oils and waxes only. Organic oils and waxes enhance the beauty of wood and protect it very well. They don’t cover the timber with a chemical skin so the wood doesn’t lose any of its natural freshness.
